From Kitchens to Tuna…

Phew! what a busy time it is. I’m sure somebody mentioned recession at some point but I don’t believe it. There seems to be a real ‘go for it’ attitude for many clients which is great. I’ve been working with some really great people over the past few months and the quality of knowledge share is amazing. Got some great projects in the pipeline too which I’m really excited about – watch this space…

Peaceful Hooligan launch

No comments · Posted by Lee Scowcroft in General Chat

I’ve recently been busy helping the guys over at Peaceful Hooligan HQ launch there new range of clothing on a funky new website which we’ve built from the ground up based on the .Net platform. This has been a really nice project to work on especially as you won’t be able to buy this gear anywhere but from the website. We’ll be launching within the next few days so best of luck guys! I’d also like to thank James and Tony for there hard work.

Your site is moving back up north!

After years of putting up with the bad service, server downtime and ridiculous prices by Fasthosts I’ve made the decision to move some of my client websites and email services over to a Layershift server. The transition is slightly daunting but this will be a great step forward especially for clients who will now have the option of IMAP email accounts for the same price of POP. The transition will take place over an 8x week period.

Make or break for the UK

3 Comments · Posted by Lee Scowcroft in General Chat

What a week it’s been for UK politics. Seems like voting was pretty much a waste of time when deals were made between parties to decide on who actually gets power. This is supposed to be a free country but I personally feel somewhat cheated by this whole deal.

Why we’re people turned away from voting – surely that’s our right?…why was there not a re-vote?…However it goes I think we’re going to see financial difficulties in the not too distant future for the UK.
